I’m back! After 4 weeks of fantastic holidays and the subsequently post vacation blues Tina Banks is back in shape again.
The weather these days is a bit unpredictable; chilly in the morning and hot at midday. Air-conditioning runs everywhere at full power although you will rather sometimes have some heating! Plus, you still have that summer feeling and a well-earned tan that prevents you from dressing up too formal.
One of the best solutions I’ve found for these days is wearing a cardigan. Cardigans are perfect in the summer because they’re so versatile and are super easy to put on and off depending on the temperature. It can be worn with dresses, skirts and pants. They’re great to add contrasting color, to mute a loud pattern in a dress or blouse, or add a color to a drab ensemble. While they don’t add a lot of authority the way a blazer does they are a perfectly acceptable summer look for the office.

Ya estoy aquí! Después de 4 semanas de fantásticas vacaciones y de la consabida depresión post-vacacional Tina Banks está de vuelta.
El tiempo en estos días es un poco impredecible, frío en la mañana y caluroso al mediodía. El aire acondicionado sigue encendido en todas partes, aunque a veces preferiríamos un poco de calefacción! Además, todavía tienes esa sensación de verano y un moreno precioso que te impide vestirte demasiado formal.
Una de las mejores soluciones que he encontrado para estos días es la chaqueta o “rebequita” de punto. Son perfectas para el verano porque son muy versátiles y muy fáciles de poner y quitar en función de la temperatura. Las puedes combinar con vestidos, faldas y pantalones. Son excelentes para proporcionar contraste a tu conjunto, bien para mitigar un vestido o blusa demasiado colorido, o añadir color a un conjunto monótono. Si bien no te da el mismo look formal que una blazer, es un look veraniego perfectamente aceptable para la oficina.
